What is a Continuous Roof Barn, Anyway?

Like an A-frame barn, continuous roof barns are also built on sturdy A-frames. The difference is that continuous or straight roof barns often feature an unbroken roof that meets at a higher peak than other metal barns, offering seamless protection. They’re also known as Seneca barns, and this style of metal barn serves well for a number of farm and agricultural applications.

Some people probably assume that there’s not much difference between continuous steel barn providers, where you choose to get your barn matters! With THE BOSS, you have multiple customization options for continuous roof barns. You can select the size, style, color, roof styles, gauges, doors & windows, and many more components to create your custom barn.

Size & Style

What animals, equipment, or supplies do you want to keep in your barn? We can provide a continuous roof steel barns to accommodate whatever you want, including up to three passenger vehicles. You decide the width, length, and height of barn you need, and we’ll take it from there. Got some special design considerations? We can help!

Choose Your Gauges

14-gauge is a typical standard for steel barns, but you may want to consider a thicker 12-gauge for an even sturdier building. The gauge you choose for your metal roofing and side paneling is for you to decide, as well.

Door & Window Options

A steel barn isn’t much good if you don’t have easy access for people, animals, and equipment! We offer garage-style doors and other doors in different sizes and varieties, and you can decide exactly where you want to place them. What about letting in some natural light and ventilation? You can add windows to your barn, as well.

Roof Style Options, Too

You’re not just tied to going with an A-frame style roof for your continuous roof barn. If you’d prefer a barn with additional reinforcements and vertically-oriented paneling, we can also help you design a Seneca barn with a premium vertical roof.

Colors & More Colors

Your continuous roof barn can be so much more than boring. What color or colors would you like to choose for your roof, side paneling, and trim? We have many popular color choices for you, and you can mix, match, or two-tone your colors, too.

More Ways to Customize, Too!

You Can Do More With a Continuous Roof Barn

A continuous roof barn building is much more versatile than any “traditional” wood barn. Obviously you can use it for stabling horses and storing hay, but there are so many other ways you can use one of these sturdy steel barns, too:

Shelter for livestock & horses

You can keep horses, tack, and other supplies in one of these barns, and you can also use it for protecting other livestock, egg or dairy production, and other similar applications.

Riding arena

How’d you like to have some riding space that’s protected from any weather threats? Go with one of our larger continuous roof barn designs, and you can design your own indoor riding arena.

Garage & Multipurpose Storage

Don’t just house your farm equipment; you can keep your personal vehicles secure, too! Great for everything from RVs to boats to other large vehicles. Just need some storage space for stuff that no longer fits in your house? A continuous roof barn can offer you all the space you need!

Workspace & hobby space

You can do more than just store vehicles and equipment in one of these versatile barn buildings. You can also set aside some space to be able to work on those items, or to pursue a particular hobby.

Continuous Roof Steel Barns Are Better Barns

What’s better about a steel barn? Pretty much everything you can think of! Here are just a few features that make a continuous roof steel barn from Boss Buildings a better choice than any stick-build or wooden barn:

Built to Last

With a steel barn, you won’t have any of the same moisture concerns you would with a wooden building. Steel doesn’t rot like wood, and it offers more reliable protection from rain, snow, wind, and occasional lightning strikes.

Fewer Worries About Pests & Fire

Termites and other pests can’t damage steel, and they aren’t attracted to it as a food source. Steel also plays a poor host for mold or mildew. Fewer fire concerns, too – steel won’t burn, so it’s naturally more flame-resistant.

Expandable & Adaptable

Steel is a construction material that offers great flexibility of design, much more than wood or aluminum. You can also expand or adapt a continuous roof steel barn with greater ease as your needs grow or change.

Maintenance Is Easy

Do you really want to have to mess with a barn that needs repainting or restaining every few years? Steel buildings are simple to maintain, and their colors are engineered not to peel or fade. Cleaning is easy, too; just hose your barn out every so often, or use a pressure washer for an occasional deep clean.

Continuous Roof Barns in Different Sizes, at the Right Price

THE BOSS can help you design the continuous roof barn you need, and then we’ll engineer it to meet your exact specifications. A 42’x21’ three-section continuous A-frame roof barn is a great option for accommodating horses, livestock or other items. It includes an 18’-wide center section, with 12’-wide sections on either side. We can go wider or longer with your building, too. And if you need to go even bigger, we can offer you one of our larger vertical continuous roof barn options. We’ve got you covered at Boss Buildings!

It’s great to get the barn you need, but it’s even nicer when you can get it for less! That’s what THE BOSS does for you! How? We work directly with the manufacturers themselves, so we’re able to sell at factory-direct prices. Your individual price will depend on a few deciding factors, including your barn’s size, the customization options you select, and the specific location where your barn will be installed. We Offer More Than Just Continuous Roof Barns

THE BOSS is here to provide a full selection of metal buildings and steel structures, including metal barns in several roof styles. We’ve got what you need!

Regular Roof Barns

Regular roof barns have a popular traditional, rounded look, and they feature horizontal roof paneling. Regular roofs are an economical choice, and they offer reliable protection from sun and rain.

A-Frame Horizontal Roof Barns

The A-frame or boxed-eave barn roof more closely mirrors that of a house, and the roof panels run horizontally. The A-frame roof is a strong, sturdy design, and is a sound choice.

Vertical Roof Barns

Whatever barn design you choose, you can’t go wrong with a vertical roof! It comes on a sturdy A-frame, and also includes additional reinforcements. Vertical roof paneling directs away precipitation and debris easily.
